As you may have read here: (click) , having a correct stance is vital not only to foot health but also for your knees, hips, back and more.
So right now, get up from your desk, couch or wherever you are sitting. Now, march in place a few times with your eyes closed and then stop, open your eyes and keep reading ... (Go ahead... I'll wait here).
Now, look down at your feet. Try to imagine a straight line coming out of each of your little toes. If the line keeps going will the space between the two lines keep getting bigger and bigger, be the same (parallel lines) or eventually cross?
Ideally they should be parallel - going straight ahead.
Now, reset your feet using that mental image of parallel lines going out from your pinky toes. Feel weird? That's how you should be standing naturally. And as you walk, that's how your feet should be pointing.
When you take your daily walk today, keep your stance in mind as you're walking. It'll take practice, but that's why I'm here.
